MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, a business of Element Solutions Inc announces that Dr. Ravi Bhatkal, Vice President of Strategy, has been elected Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Electronics Manufacturing Initiative (INEMI).
Dr. Ravi Bhatkal was elected as part of INEMI’s 2026 Board and will serve alongside the consortium’s other board members. In this role, he will help shape the organization’s strategic direction and support its mission to drive innovation across the global electronics manufacturing supply chain.
INEMI is an industry-led consortium that brings together manufacturers, suppliers, universities, research institutes, associations, consortia, and government agencies. Together, they identify technology needs, close critical gaps, and accelerate the adoption of new technologies through collaboration.
At MacDermid Alpha, Dr. Bhatkal has played a key role in shaping the company’s strategy and deepening its ties with the broader electronics manufacturing ecosystem. His appointment to Vice Chairman of INEMI’s Board reflects both his leadership and his long-standing commitment to advancing innovation across the sector.
Over the past two decades, he has held multiple leadership roles at INEMI, including Board Member, Technical Committee Member, Chair or Co-Chair of several technology roadmaps, and Project Leader.
