Built for mission-critical applications including oil and gas, fire and rescue, security, shipboard systems, and military communications, the Stratos T2 Series enables seamless conversion between electrical and optical signals without compromising on speed or reliability.

At its core, the system features a two-channel optical transceiver, with each channel supporting up to 1000 Mbps Ethernet. This allows for a combined 2 Gbps fiber link, ensuring stable, high-speed communication even in conditions where conventional networking equipment struggles to perform.

On the optical side, the converter uses a TFOCA-II four-channel connector and supports a broad range of wavelengths and fiber modes.

Its modular electrical interface adds further flexibility, offering options such as rugged MIL circular connectors or RJ45 PoE mag-jacks, making integration into diverse system architectures Cinch Stratos T2 Media Converter Now via Powell Electronics The Volt Poststraightforward.

Designed with durability in mind, the Stratos T2 Series meets MIL-STD-810 standards, with proven resistance to temperature extremes, thermal shock, vibration, mechanical stress, humidity, and altitude.

It is also FCC Class A compliant and incorporates both internal and external EMI sealing to maintain reliable operation in electrically noisy environments.
