Brewer Science just announced it’s acquiring the semiconductor chemicals business of Heraeus Epurio, a well-known leader in ultrapure electronic chemicals for semiconductor manufacturing.
The deal includes Heraeus Epurio’s production site in Dayton, Ohio, plus sales and support staff in Asia.
This acquisition broadens the company’s advanced materials portfolio and boosts its ability to serve semiconductor customers with specialized ultrapure chemical solutions that are essential for advanced lithography and microdevice fabrication.
Since 1981, Brewer Science has been a technology leader in specialty materials and equipment for the microelectronics industry, with deep expertise in lithography materials, advanced packaging, and materials innovation.
Heraeus Epurio, LLC, based in Dayton, Ohio, is known for developing and manufacturing photoacid generators, photo-initiators, monomers, crosslinkers, and other ultrapure specialty chemicals for semiconductor and electronics applications.
These materials are made with exceptionally low trace-metal content and are designed to meet the strict purity and performance requirements of advanced chip manufacturing.
