Aratas America has introduced its G3VH, a high-load-voltage silicon carbide (SiC) MOSFET relay built for the kind of high-voltage switching that’s becoming essential as industries push harder on decarbonization and energy efficiency. Support for Load Voltages of 1,800 V – 3,300 V
Compared with conventional silicon devices, SiC offers much higher dielectric breakdown strength, which translates into better voltage withstand capability in a smaller package.
For the G3VH, that means support for load voltages of 1,800 V or 3,300 V while keeping ON resistance, leakage current, and heat generation in check.
