COO, Daimler India Anshum Jain To Now Lead SE’s Global Supply Chain

COO, Daimler India Anshum Jain lately named by Schneider Electric as the new Vice President of their Global Supply Chain in India. In his new position, Anshum will be responsible for boosting the nation’s Global Supply Chain vertical’s performance. He’ll be a member of a supply chain council that aims to build a robust national supply chain ecosystem to support the expansion goals of both home and foreign markets, said the official release.

Academic Background

Anshum is a mechanical engineering graduate of NIT Nagpur. He then went on to get master’s degrees in industrial and manufacturing engineering from the University of Cincinnati and business administration from Wayne State University. He has managed all facets of manufacturing, operations, and supply chain for 27 years, both domestically and abroad. Throughout that time, he has successfully negotiated the challenges presented by worldwide operations, global markets, and a variety of business settings.

Prior Leadership Positions of Anshum Jain

Prior to joining Schneider Electric, Anshum held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Daimler India Commercial Vehicles. Prestigious firms like Terex (India), MTU Detroit Diesel (US), Bosch (India), and Cummins (US) are among the ones he has worked with in the past. Additionally, he served as the COO for John Deere (India) for seven years.
