Panasonic Industry Europe and SIT S.p.A. are heading to Chillventa 2026 in Nuremberg to showcase their jointly developed fan and motor technologies for the HVAC-R market. Running from October 13 to 15, the joint exhibit highlights the tangible hardware results of a strategic partnership launched in 2023, focusing squarely on driving energy efficiency, acoustic performance, and system reliability across the sector.
The centerpiece of the collaboration is the debut of SIT’s new axial fan for commercial ventilation. Engineered specifically for high-performance, low-noise chillers and commercial heat pumps, the new fan will be displayed alongside the company’s proven whisperTECH450.
The side-by-side setup gives engineers a practical look at how to scale aerodynamic solutions across different system footprints and installation constraints.
Integrated Motor and Fan Architectures
The core advantage of the partnership lies in hardware integration. The companies are combining Panasonic’s highly efficient motor technology with SIT’s advanced aerodynamic fan designs to deliver a fully optimized, drop-in solution for HVAC-R manufacturers.
On the drive side, Panasonic is expanding its high-efficiency fan motor portfolio with the AR-9HS, AR-T, and AR-BS series. Built for compact integration and continuous, reliable operation, the motors support a wide range of fan sizes and performance tiers.
When paired directly with SIT’s whisperTECH technology, the combined platform provides manufacturers with a flexible, scalable foundation that hits stringent efficiency metrics while keeping noise levels exceptionally low.
With regulatory requirements tightening and consumer demand shifting toward quieter, more sustainable heating and cooling architectures, the Panasonic and SIT collaboration provides equipment builders with a proven pathway to streamline the design of their next-generation HVAC systems.
