Rutronik has announced the availability of the YAGEO Group’s multilayer ceramic capacitor portfolio, giving design teams across Europe and beyond a broader selection of MLCC technologies for consumer, industrial, automotive, aerospace and defence applications.

The move brings together products from both YAGEO and KEMET under one distribution umbrella, offering engineers a wide range of dielectric options, voltage ratings and package formats to support increasingly complex electronic systems.

As device manufacturers continue to pack more functionality into smaller footprints, passive components such as MLCCs are playing a larger role in power management, EMI suppression and overall system reliability.
The portfolio available through Rutronik covers dielectric materials including C0G, U2J, X5R, X6S, X7R, X7T, X7S, X8G, X8L and X8R. Engineers can choose from surface-mount, leaded, stacked, KONNEKT Technology and disc capacitor options, with case sizes from EIA 01005 to 4540.
Selected devices support operating temperatures up to 260°C and voltage ratings reaching 10,000 VDC, addressing high-temperature and high-voltage use cases in power conversion, filtering and energy management.
Reliability Across Automotive, Aerospace and Medical
The range is structured to meet growing reliability requirements across multiple sectors. Products are qualified for commercial, automotive, high-reliability, military, aerospace and Class III medical applications, enabling deployment in environments where long-term performance and durability are critical.
This includes automotive-grade MLCCs that go beyond AEC-Q200 requirements, as well as high-reliability series aligned with MIL-PRF-32535 expectations for defence and space electronics.
