Tema ETFs has added ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT) to its Tema Memory ETF (DISK) as a top holding, assigning it a 10.56% portfolio weight. The position was initiated on the morning of CXMT’s IPO, giving DISK the highest exposure to the company among all U.S.-listed ETFs.

The move comes as CXMT, China’s leading memory chipmaker, steps into the public market in what ranks as the country’s second-largest IPO. The company stands as China’s only major DRAM competitor to global leaders Samsung Electronics, SK hynix, and Micron Technology.
Tema’s early investment is particularly notable given that most foreign investors are currently unable to access CXMT shares until the company is included in the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect.
Leadership Comment
“AI demand is driving a global undersupply of memory, causing prices and profits to rise sharply. CXMT is uniquely positioned among the world’s leading memory producers to serve China’s rapidly growing AI ecosystem,” said Yuri Khodjamirian, CFA, Chief Investment Officer at Tema ETFs. “DISK’s investment in CXMT on the morning of its IPO reflects the active agility and expertise required to capture compelling opportunities that remain beyond the reach of most investors.”
