Marquistech has expanded its operations in Noida to set up what it describes as India’s first fully equipped conformance recognized test organization lab for GCF and authorized test lab for PTCRB testing, using systems from Rohde & Schwarz.

The new facility adds local testing capacity for mobile devices, IoT products and wireless modules, with support for 4G and 5G conformance, NB-IoT, NTN, CAT-M, MCX and location based service certification.
For the lab buildout, Marquistech selected several Rohde & Schwarz systems, including the R&S TS8980FTA-3A RF and RRM full type approval system, the CMX500 radio communication tester for protocol conformance, the R&S TS-LBS positioning test system, and the R&S TS9982 and R&S TS9975 EMI and EMC test systems.
With this installation, the company says it has become the first fully equipped conformance test house in India for both certification programs.
The lab, located in the Delhi National Capital Region, is designed to serve device makers in the mobile, IoT and wireless module segments at a time when India is gaining importance as an export-led electronics manufacturing base. By bringing more of the certification process in-house, the setup is expected to cut testing costs and reduce the time needed to complete certification campaigns.
Marquistech has already been working as a GCF field testing RTO, and the expansion now extends its services into full conformance testing. The company said the support structure from Rohde & Schwarz was a key factor in the partnership, with local engineering and application teams helping shape the lab’s wireless test capabilities.
