DigiKey has launched the Sustainable Futures Season 2. This season the video series takes a closer look at how advanced electronics are helping drive cleaner energy, smarter systems, and more sustainable design across industries.

The Sustainable Futures video series first episode, “Intelligence That Drives Efficiency,” focuses on the role of renewable energy, smart grids, and edge intelligence in creating adaptive and resilient energy systems. The second episode, “Building the Backbone of Electrification,” turns to EV charging infrastructure and material innovation. Harwin demonstrates how high-reliability interconnects and sustainable materials are helping deliver safe, durable, and scalable solutions for the electrification ecosystem.
The final episode, “Shaping What Comes Next,” looks ahead to the future of sustainable electronics, where AI, advanced materials, and sustainable manufacturing intersect. It presents a broader vision of how hardware, intelligence, and collaboration can come together to scale sustainable innovation in the years ahead.
