Same Sky has expanded its interconnect portfolio with the addition of new rectangular connectors, strengthening its broader lineup of connectors. The new SSK family covers a wide range of configurations, including male and female pin headers as well as box headers, designed for flexible board-to-board connectivity.
The connectors are available in single- and dual-row formats, with pin counts ranging from 1 to 40 and a standard 2.54 mm pitch. Gold flash contact finishes ensure reliable performance, while the design keeps things practical with straight pins, through-hole mounting, and push-pull fastening.
From an electrical and mechanical standpoint, the SSK series is built for reliable operation. It supports a voltage rating of 250 Vdc and a current rating of 3 A, with contact lengths of 6 mm on the mating side and 3 mm on the post side.
The connectors are rated for operating temperatures from -40°C to 105°C, making them suitable for a wide range of environments.
Same Sky is positioning the SSK family as a cost-effective solution as well, with pricing starting at $0.17 per unit at 100-piece volumes through distribution.
