From May 4-7, SEMICON Southeast Asia, the region’s flagship semiconductor event took center stage in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Among the standout exhibitors was DUCO Robots, a rising force in China’s intelligent robotics space, presenting a portfolio of advanced solutions tailored for high-end semiconductor manufacturing.

At the heart of its showcase was an AMHS (Automated Material Handling System) designed to tackle one of the industry’s most persistent challenges: maximizing efficiency in constrained spaces.
Built for both new fabs and retrofit environments with limited floor area and ceiling heights of just three meters, the solution integrates mobile collaborative robots with an Overhead Shuttle System (OHS). This hybrid approach enables seamless, high-speed transfer of tray bundles while shifting material flow above the production floor freeing up valuable ground space.
Coordinating this ecosystem is DUCO’s Material Control System (MCS), which synchronizes mobile robots and overhead transport in real time. The result is a tightly integrated operation that improves precision, boosts throughput, and adds flexibility, key advantages for semiconductor fabs looking to reduce costs while scaling efficiently.
DUCO carried this momentum beyond Kuala Lumpur, continuing its regional showcase at INTERMACH 2026 in Bangkok (May 13-16) and MetalTech & Automex 2026 in Malaysia (May 20–23). Across these platforms, the company demonstrated a broad spectrum of capabilities, including welding cobots, palletizing systems, vision-guided pick-and-place solutions, and AMR-enabled automation setups.
With each exhibition, DUCO Robots is not just presenting products it is reinforcing its position in the global smart manufacturing landscape. The company’s growing presence reflects both the maturity of its technology and the expanding influence of China’s high-end manufacturing capabilities on the world stage.
