Pickering Brings Scalable RF Switching Innovation to IMS 2026

THE VOLT VOTES

Pickering Interfaces is set to showcase its extensive range of RF and microwave signal switching solutions at the IEEE International Microwave Symposium – IMS 2026, taking place June 9-11 in Boston.

Pickering to Showcase RF and Microwave Switching at IMS 2026

At booth 14104, the company will demonstrate how its COTS, configurable, and fully customized switching platforms can help build scalable RF and microwave test systems across industries such as aerospace and defense, communications, semiconductors, and automotive.

A key highlight at the booth will be Pickering’s Microwave Switch Design Tool, part of its newly launched Test System Architect suite.

This free, web-based tool allows engineers to visually design, configure, and simulate RF and microwave switching systems.

Users can easily select and integrate components like relays, attenuators, connectors, and cables, then share their designs with colleagues or Pickering’s engineering team for evaluation before moving to production.

Recognized as one of the leading global events in the RF and microwave space, IMS brings together experts working across RF theory, design, simulation, test, and system development.

At the event, Pickering will spotlight its RF & microwave switching solutions, including:

  • Standard COTS switching solutions: PXI and PXIe modules supporting bandwidths up to 110 GHz, with configurations such as SPDT, transfer switches, multiplexers, and matrices, compatible with PXI, PXIe, and LXI/USB chassis
  • Flexible RFIU platforms: User-defined microwave switching solutions in PXI and LXI formats, supporting high-performance relays up to 110 GHz at 50 ? and up to 2.5 GHz at 75 ?, with multiple connector options
  • Turnkey RFIU subsystems: Custom LXI-based microwave switching and signal routing systems tailored to specific test requirements, while ensuring long-term compatibility
  • Test system design software: The Microwave Switch Design Tool within Test System Architect, enabling efficient modeling and simulation of PXI and LXI switching architectures

The showcase will also include offerings from Pickering’s reed relay and connectivity product lines, rounding out its capabilities for advanced test and measurement applications.

Pickering Interfaces stands behind its manufactured products with a standard three-year warranty and guaranteed long-term product support.
