KYOCERA AVX at CMSE – the 29th annual Components for Military & Space Electronics (CMSE) Conference & Exhibition, taking place in Los Angeles from April 28–30.

On Wednesday, April 29, KYOCERA AVX at CMSE, Product Manager Tyler Lagnese will present “MLCC Product Grades Explained: From Commercial to Space Applications,” a session that breaks down the differences between Consumer, Automotive, COTS+, and Hi-Rel grades. The talk is aimed at helping military and aerospace engineers make more informed component choices, especially when working to balance performance, certification, and cost in demanding applications.
On Thursday, April 30, Senior Fellow Ron Demcko will present “Low-Inductance Bulk Capacitors,” with a focus on why this technology is becoming increasingly important in advanced military and aerospace electronics. The session will cover how low-inductance bulk capacitors can support high-di/dt power demands while also helping reduce system size, weight, and complexity. It will also introduce the concept of a low-inductance bulk capacitor based on non-ceramic material systems, along with comparisons to existing solutions and their impact at the circuit level.
At the KYOCERA AVX exhibit, Tyler, Ron, and Lead Technical Applications Engineer Daniel West will also highlight a broad portfolio of high-reliability passive components designed to improve size, weight, and power performance in mission-critical applications.
That includes Multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) with COTS+, military, and space-grade options, including the expanded MIL-PRF-32535 BME NP0 MLCCs. Also on display are Tantalum capacitors, Polymer capacitors, RF/Microwave capacitors, OCXOs, Thin-film inductors, EMI filters, resistors with FLEXITERM® technology, which adds protection against flex-related damage during installation.
Together, the presentations and product showcase of KYOCERA AVX at CMSE underline KYOCERA AVX’s focus on helping military, aerospace, and space customers improve performance without compromising reliability.
CMSE remains one of the leading events focused on the design, reliability, and application of electronic components for terrestrial avionics, aerospace, military, and commercial and defense space systems.
