At WCX 2026, CONTACT Defines Digital Backbone For Auto Engineering

THE VOLT VOTES

CONTACT Software is showcasing AI-powered solutions to build a unified digital backbone for automotive engineering, configuration, and simulation at the upcoming WCX World Congress Experience (April 14–16, 2026, Detroit). Partnering with US-based consultancy Razorleaf, the company is helping North American automotive firms navigate the shift to software-defined vehicles.

This transition demands seamless integration across the product lifecycle from engineering and simulation to manufacturing and services all within a single AI-supported ecosystem.

At booth 349, CONTACT Software and Razorleaf experts will demonstrate the modular CONTACT Elements platform, which links PLM, project management, and IIoT for end-to-end workflows. It creates a single source of truth for data, accessible at every stage, while the new Fourier AI layer leverages both general and domain-specific models to speed up tasks like spotting similar 3D geometries.

Rounding out the offerings are tools from CONTACT subsidiary CAIQ, including Simulation Process & Data Management (SPDM), which embeds simulation directly into product development for faster cycles, lower costs, and top quality already in use by customers like Audi and Porsche.
