Intel Corporation has announced the new Intel Core Ultra 200HX Plus series mobile processors, expanding its Core Ultra 200 family with powerful options built for gamers, creators, and professionals who demand top-tier performance.

Leading the lineup are two new flagship chips the Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus and Intel Core Ultra 7 270HX Plus designed to push the limits of gaming, streaming, content creation, and workstation performance.
These processors introduce a host of refinements, including support for the groundbreaking Intel Binary Optimization Tool. This first-of-its-kind binary translation layer enhances native performance in select games by optimizing code execution across architectures.
The Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus delivers up to 8% faster gaming performance and up to 7% better single-thread performance compared to its predecessor, the 285HX.
For users upgrading from older systems such as the Intel Core i9-12900HX, the difference is even more dramatic up to 62% faster gaming and 30% faster single-threaded performance.
Among the key advancements:
- Higher CPU/memory controller frequencies: A boost of up to 900MHz in die-to-die frequency versus the previous generation, reducing system latency and improving frame rates.
- Intel Binary Optimization Tool: Leveraging Intel’s four decades of workload optimization expertise, this new technology boosts instructions per cycle (IPC) and overall performance even for workloads designed for different x86 architectures or older platforms.
- Next-generation connectivity: Support for Intel Wi-Fi 7 (5 Gig), Intel Wireless Bluetooth® 5.4, and Intel Thunderbolt™ 5, which enables up to 80 Gbps bidirectional bandwidth ideal for transferring massive files, streaming 8K content, or connecting multiple high-speed peripherals.
