The merger creates an end?to?end powerhouse with capabilities spanning molecular discovery to pilot?scale manufacturing.

By integrating Wildcat’s proprietary High Throughput Platform (HTP) with Holyvolt’s pioneering screen?printing and water?based process technologies, the combined entity eliminates traditional bottlenecks between lab innovation and commercial production.

Wildcat’s High Throughput Platform can rapidly produce terabyte?scale datasets through combinatorial experimentation. These rich, structured datasets are ideal for AI?driven analysis and accelerated materials learning, enabling faster discovery and optimization of battery chemistries at an unprecedented scale.

Following Holyvolt’s recent €20 million funding round, the acquisition strengthens the company’s technical foundation and global reach.

Together, Holyvolt and Wildcat will support a broad range of sectors including automotive, consumer electronics, aerospace, energy storage, and defence serving as a technology development partner across the entire battery value chain.

Commercial engagement models, including licensing and co?development partnerships, will be tailored to each customer’s specific needs.

Backed by more than two decades of battery chemistry expertise and process innovation, the unified company is positioned to bring breakthrough technologies to market faster. The integration of rapid materials discovery, modular manufacturing processes, and scalable pilot production promises to accelerate innovation across the industry.

This acquisition also speaks directly to the strategic challenges facing the global clean?energy transition in Europe and North America, cutting production costs, improving sustainability, and strengthening supply chain independence and competitiveness.

With Holyvolt and Wildcat joining forces, the path to commercializing high?performance, sustainable battery technologies just became significantly shorter.

Leadership Comments

Mathias Ingvarsson, Founder & CEO, Holyvolt, said: “The acquisition of Wildcat is a perfect complement to our intended strategy of developing new technologies for the battery industry. Holyvolt is focused on developing new processes to make batteries cleaner and more affordable, and Wildcat has been pursuing the same goals via materials development and better chemistry. Combined, we are building what we believe is the most compelling technology to deliver on these objectives.”
