The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has empanelled RANext Technologies as a Digital Connectivity Rating Agency (DCRA), which is a significant milestone in developing India’s digital infrastructure ecosystem and strengthens its position in developing digitally ready real estate nationwide.

RANext Technologies, a DCRA authorized by TRAI, will assess properties’ digital connectivity infrastructure to guarantee smooth connectivity and preparedness for both existing and new smart technologies.
Fiber infrastructure standards, in-building connection, broadband and Wi-Fi performance within premises, and readiness for future smart technologies are just a few of the important assessment categories that will be covered by the user-centric, real-world ratings.
Seamless connectivity is now essential for work, education, banking, healthcare, and entertainment due to India’s quick shift to a digital-first economy.
With almost a billion people using the internet every day and smart offices and homes becoming commonplace, digital performance has become a crucial factor in determining how people perceive and value buildings. Nonetheless, the majority of properties are still neither planned or assessed for their digital performance.
By evaluating in-building digital connectivity and communication technologies using a standardized star-rating framework, Digital Connectivity Rating Agencies close this gap and provide an unbiased assessment of a property’s digital preparedness.
Developers, property managers, service providers, and homebuyers can evaluate how digitally equipped a building is using the DCRA framework, establishing an unbiased, transparent, and standardised. It empowers buyers, tenants, and enterprises to make well-informed decisions and motivates developers to incorporate strong digital infrastructure at the design stage.
A DCRA rating serves as a trust badge for developers, property owners, and real estate brands—differentiating assets in a competitive market, indicating future-ready, smart infrastructure, and fostering confidence among investors, businesses, buyers, and renters.
In addition to supporting digital lifestyles like work-from-home, streaming, gaming, and smart living, it removes ambiguity over internet and connectivity quality for both tenants and homebuyers.
By ensuring properties satisfy specified standards for digital connectivity quality, this milestone allows RANext to contribute to the national vision of Digital India.
