The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) announced a major collaboration with Google and Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCS University), Meerut, on the 123rd birth anniversary of former Indian Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Chaudhary Charan Singh, whose life and legacy stand for social justice, rural empowerment, and education-led nation building.

The partnership intends to make CCS University India’s first AI-enabled University, using technology as a tool to democratize education and opportunity for youth across Bharat, in a fitting homage to his ideal of inclusive development.
By using AI to bridge the India-Bharat divide and empower Tier-2 and Tier-3 youth beyond language and access hurdles, this alliance also seeks to solve the issue of employment.
CCS University will be the pilot institution for developing and carrying out an AI Adoption Framework in accordance with the MoU.
Prof. Sangeeta Shukla, Vice-Chancellor of CCS University, and Ms. Debashree Mukherjee, Secretary, MSDE, also attended. Senior Google India representatives and important MSDE officials were also in attendance.
The partnership represents a renewed national commitment to use technology in the service of inclusion, skills, and dignity of work so that India’s growth story truly reflects the aspirations of both India and Bharat by basing this initiative at Chaudhary Charan Singh University on the birth anniversary of a leader who championed education for the masses.
