LED Expo 2025 Hits 30th Edition at IICC with 250 Exhibitors

As LED Expo New Delhi 2025 celebrates its 30th edition, it marks a historic milestone by opening at Yashobhoomi (IICC), Dwarka. There are 250 exhibitors in the three-day event, including 75 new participants.

The nation’s shift to sustainable and energy-efficient infrastructure is being propelled by the state-of-the-art breakthroughs in LED products, components, and applications that abound on the show floor.

The expo’s focus this year is on a variety of topics, including human-centric lighting solutions that complement the body’s natural rhythm and surroundings, façade lighting as a growing narrator of architecture and design, and solar lighting for sustainability.

The 30th edition includes brands from China, Germany, Hong Kong and South Korea and UAE, along with launch of 60 fresh products.

The inauguration ceremony marked the presence of distinguished dignitaries, including:

The expo is the premier venue for stakeholders, industry leaders, and innovators to present ground-breaking solutions that are revolutionizing the way India illuminates its cities, homes, and businesses.

This year’s expo covers every aspect of India’s lighting revolution, from intelligent street lighting systems and IoT-integrated smart ecosystems to architectural LED walls and customizable spectrum solutions.

Visitors are finding a wide variety of products that cover the whole value chain of the LED ecosystem, including industrial lighting systems, intelligent street lighting systems, high-performance LED bulbs and luminaires, and decorative LED applications.

The shift toward smart, connected, and sustainable lighting reflects India’s broader commitment to energy efficiency and environmental responsibility—positioning the nation as an emerging hub for LED technology export and manufacturing excellence.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL), Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Council of Architecture (COA), Federation of Hotels and Restaurant Association of India (FHRAI), International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), Luminaire Accessories Components Manufacturers Association (LACMA), Lighting Designers Association of India (LiDAI), UP Architects Association, and Women in Lighting (WIL) provided support for the expo.

Leadership Comments

On the occasion, Chief Guest Dr Ashok Kumar, Deputy Director General, Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, Government of India expressed: “As India strides towards its energy efficient and climate resilient future, platforms like LED Expo play a crucial role in accelerating market transformation. LED Expo New Delhi is part of Messe Frankfurt’s Light + Building Technology fair portfolio headed by the biennial Light + Building event in Frankfurt, Germany. The next edition will be held from 8 – 13 March 2026. Messe Frankfurt organises a number of trade fairs for the light and building technology sectors in Asia, Argentina, China, the UAE and the USA.
