The new NT100 unmanaged series provides outstanding performance and dependability for process control, Ethernet I/O, and data gathering.

Designed For Harsh Environments

The switches are built in robust industrial metal enclosures and have eight high performance copper ports (10/100BaseTX RJ45) and two, three, or four 100BaseFX fiber ports. High shock and vibration endurance is provided by the new switches. ESD and surge protection are integrated into the RJ45 ports.

Multimode or singlemode fiber ports with SC or ST connectors are available. at sleek, compact designs that function at temperatures ranging from -40°C to 85°C, users enjoy an outstanding 1.2M hour MTBF rating.

The NT110-FX2, NT111-FX3, and NT112-FX4 unmanaged switches provide full wire speed connectivity for reliable network support. With capability for both full and half duplex operation, each model uses store-and-forward technology. For redundancy, two 10-49 VDC power inputs are included.

In addition to IEEE 802.3 compliance, marine, railway, and rolling stock certifications, the new switches are certified for UL Ordinary and Hazardous sites, ATEX, and IECEx.

Critical Performance Data Now Easy To Gather

Critical performance data is easy to gather with HMS Networks’ N-Tron NT100 series. In addition to oil and gas, utilities, water/wastewater treatment, alternative energy, rail, intelligent traffic control, and transportation applications, their tough and hardened designs offer the resilience and dependability required to endure the harsh conditions found on factory floor control networks.

Leadership Comments

“For decades, N-Tron has stood for ruggedness, reliability and ease of use.
