Addverb Partners with IITs to Drive Robotics Innovation

In the era of intelligent automation, bridging the gap between academics and industry is more important than ever. In order to create Centers of Excellence (CoEs) that promote robotics and automation research, innovation, and talent development, Addverb is collaborating with top colleges including IITs, NAMTECH, and NIIT Neemrana, Rajasthan, offering them cobots, Trakr, AGV’s AMRs, and shuttles.

To make advanced robotics education more accessible, these Centers of Excellence are being established at subsidized fees, with a focus on smart and physical AI, collaborative robots (Cobots), and Addverb’s Quadruped-Trakr.

They will act as centers for IP creation, research and development, and industry-driven education, enabling students to work on practical automation technologies utilized in international manufacturing and warehouse environments.

Through these academic alliances:

  • Facilitate collaborative R&D in robotics and automation
  • Offer Capstone Projects for B.Tech and M.Tech students
  • Conduct internships, industrial training, and workshops led by professionals
  • Support student-led innovation projects and mentorship opportunities
  • Introduce robotics awareness programs in schools to inspire early STEM learning

Addverb’s physical artificial intelligence website, AddverbAI, is a step toward open-sourcing specific codebases to allow academics and developers to test practical automation applications, further demonstrating the company’s dedication to open innovation.

Students from IIT Gandhinagar were able to present a few late-breaking papers at the IEEE RAS Humanoids and Conference on Robot Learning (CoRL) in Seoul, South Korea, as an immediate result of the project.

The company continues to develop a workforce prepared for the future and propel India’s development into a global center for robotics innovation by forging a solid link between education and business.
