COP30 coincides with the first anniversary of IMPACT NOW for sustainability, SGS’s suite of sustainability services designed to help organizations accelerate their progress across Climate, Circularity, Nature and ESG Assurance.
Since the introduction of IMPACT NOW, SGS in its official release mentions that the company has expanded its own sustainability portfolio through strategic alliances and acquisitions while assisting companies like BLK & Bold in lowering their carbon impact.
This includes the purchase of Walsh in Peru, a consultancy known for its proficiency in environmental and social management; Hidromares in Brazil, a major player in environmental monitoring and maritime solutions; and Aster Global, a specialist in the validation and verification of GHG emissions and offsets.
Additionally, SGS has been named a major worldwide consulting partner of EcoVadis, assisting companies in completing sustainability assessments, evaluating results, and improving their ESG, ethical, and sustainable procurement procedures.
