The 2025 Circuit Digest Smart Home and Wearables Project Contest, sponsored by DigiKey, invites Indian students, engineers, and hobbyists to build wearables and smart home solutions that have a positive social impact.
Engineers, students, and makers in India are welcome to enter the design competition and present their wearable and smart home design concepts. Until November 30, participants can register and submit their designs at CircuitDigest.com, demonstrating how they would incorporate development boards from Analog Devices, Adafruit and Espressif Systems.
The event offers rewards up to ?7,00,000, including free development boards, and is intended to provide contestants with everything they need to make their project ideas a reality.
The first 60 project ideas that are accepted will get goodies and a ?6,400 discount to buy a development board. After that, the finalists will start constructing, recording, and filming their projects to show them in action.
The top 10 entries will each receive ?8,500, while the first place winner will receive ?1,30,000, the second place winner will receive ?70,000, and the third place winner will receive ?45,000. In February 2026, the final winners will be revealed.
The first 60 approved project ideas will receive a ?6,400 rebate to purchase a development board as well as free goodies. The finalists will then commence building and documenting their projects, and capturing a video to demonstrate the project in action.
The first place winner will receive ?1,30,000, second place ?70,000, third place ?45,000 and the top ten entries will each receive ?8,500. Final winners will be announced in February 2026.
