In Delhi NCR, the Entrepreneurship Cell at IIT Kanpur launched the Nationals of UpStart 2025, its premier startup pitching competition. Up to 23 carefully chosen startups participated in the event, which was held at The Hunch Circle in Gurugram’s Huda City Centre. Notable investors and venture capital organizations also attended.

The Delhi-NCR edition of UpStart 2025, which aims to empower, support, and accelerate Indian startups, will be followed by editions in Hyderabad (November 1), Bengaluru (November 8), and Mumbai (December 6). The finals will take place on January 25, 2026, at the IIT Kanpur campus.
Startups at all stages of development, from ideation to growth, participated in the UpStart 2025 Delhi-NCR edition. Delegates and investors from GMR Group, Inflection Point Ventures, IAN Group, Finvolve, GrowX Ventures, and other firms attended the event, which gave the participating startups a special chance to network while developing their business acumen and ideas.
In addition to being a creative pitching competition, the event attracted startup mentors and innovation experts from a variety of industries, including fintech, health tech, deep tech, Web3, and cybersecurity.
The event’s chosen entrepreneurs would have the chance to participate in a specialized, four-week intensive mentorship program run by seasoned business professionals, giving them the tools and tactics they need to grow before the finals in January 2026.
The Delhi-NCR event of UpStart also marks the beginning of the nationwide 2025 edition, following the immense success in 2024.
The 2024 edition of the event witnessed over INR 2 crore of on-spot funding, participation from prominent investors and Venture Capital firms, and 15 exciting startups.
With an extended edition of the event in 2025, the vision remains to contribute to the development of the country’s startup ecosystem, empowering numerous entrepreneurs and driving ahead India’s business success on a grander scale.
