A compact, end-to-end battery energy storage system (BESS) intended for the commercial and industrial markets was unveiled by Honeywell as the Honeywell Ionic Modular All-in-One. Flexible battery storage and Honeywell’s cutting-edge control technology work together to save energy expenses, stabilize the grid by absorbing variations in energy demand, and supply backup power when required.
Honeywell Ionic Features:
- A flexible modular system and a self-contained lithium-ion battery enclosure.
- The new, smaller enclosure enables it to offer a range of power storage options from 250 kWh up to 5 MWh to bring energy storage scalability to more commercial and industrial settings.
The all-in-one modular BESS is completely connected with Honeywell’s Ionic Control and Energy Management system, which offers the newest analytical tools to provide sophisticated control and modification on-site.
Industry-standard ISA Secure 2 cybersecurity is also incorporated into the sophisticated control software, guaranteeing user protection and reducing vulnerabilities for possible network cyberthreats.
