With an investment of Rs 1100 crore, Ascent Circuits Private Limited, a company of the Amber Group, is set to open the largest and most sophisticated PCB manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, significantly advancing India’s vision of “Atmanirbhar Bharat” and expanding the electronics manufacturing ecosystem in the country. Under the Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS) of the central government, this is the first PCB manufacturing initiative in India to receive recognition.
Thiru. MK Stalin, the chief minister of Tamil Nadu state, was present when the corporation launched the construction commencement event to commemorate the milestone.

This Ascent Circuits facility, which is situated in ELCOT, Hosur, will focus on complex multilayer and high-density interconnect (HDI) PCBs, which are essential for enabling next-generation applications in consumer electronics, automotive, aerospace, and telecommunications.
It is expected to produce one million square meters of PCBs annually, making it India’s largest volume factory and establishing new standards for capacity, efficiency, and innovation in the PCB industry.
The Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative’s push for technical independence is anticipated to be significantly impacted by the greenfield project.
It will lessen a country’s reliance on imports, create chances for technology transfer, and encourage the localization of essential components, all of which will improve domestic capabilities, create jobs, and build an ecosystem in the electronic components market.
This project of Ascent Circuits would provide India the boost it needs to become known as a worldwide manufacturing and supply chain security hub.
