At RE+ 25, OMRON Electronic Components To Unfold its Weather Sensor

At RE+ 25, North America’s largest clean energy expo, which takes place in Las Vegas from September 8–11, OMRON Electronic Components will showcase its AC and DC high-power relays for renewable energy applications in addition to its recently introduced Weather Sensor.

Attendees can learn more about OMRON’s innovations that promote grid resilience and renewable energy by stopping by Booth #V13535 in the Venetian Ballroom on Level 2.

OMRON will demonstrate its AC and DC high-power relays for use in battery energy storage systems, PV inverters, and other renewable energy applications during the event.

In addition to a visual animation showcasing the benefits of the specific AC or DC relay, attendees can participate in an interactive high-power relay demonstration that includes five relays that replicate real-world operation.

Additionally, OMRON will demonstrate the advantages of PCB-mountable relays over conventional contactors by comparing a constructed contactor with its populated PCB relay board counterpart.

OMRON will showcase its new Weather Sensor, which was created in collaboration with KS Technologies, in addition to its relay range. Operators in smart cities, energy infrastructure, and agriculture may enhance predictive maintenance and maximize performance with this small, very accurate gadget.

The necessity for accurate, localized weather sensing has increased due to changing weather patterns and the rise in extreme weather events. The sensor’s design satisfies that need while being easy to install and maintain.

In addition to the weather sensor and relays, OMRON will also showcase an interactive high-power relay kiosk, a comparison of the technological benefits of contactors and PCB relays, and power monitoring tools.
