A plant in an industrial park in India is to be leased by Murata Electronics (India) Private Limited, a division of Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd.; the lease will be turned over in February 2025. Murata will prepare for upcoming manufacturing operations in India by gaining experience in factory operations there.
According to the company’s official LinkedIn handle, “This investment is in line with our philosophy of supporting local economic development while upholding Murata’s renowned quality standards.”
This facility will serve as a knowledge transfer and innovation sharing hub in addition to producing multi-layer ceramic capacitors, allowing us to work with India’s blossoming engineering talent!
“We are eager to facilitate India’s shift to producing high-value components and enhancing its electronics manufacturing skills through partnerships and superior manufacturing,” said the company in its statement.
