The Pxx0S3H SIDACtor Protection Thyristor Series, the first 2 kA surge protection component in a DO-214AB (SMC) package in the industry, has been released by Littelfuse. This compact solution allows for product miniaturization and provides strong protection against extreme transient events, making it perfect for next-generation power and energy designs.
In challenging situations, the Pxxx0S3H Series is specifically designed for AC and DC power lines. For uses including industrial power supply, solar inverters, UPS/AC distribution systems, automotive battery charging systems, and ICT equipment, it offers outstanding surge protection.
The Pxxx0S3H allows engineers to satisfy IEC 61000-4-5 Level 4 criteria while minimizing total device size thanks to its high current handling and small footprint.
