Adani Defence Systems and Technologies, through its subsidiary Horizon Aero Solutions, has announced an agreement with Prime Aero Services LLP to take over a full 100% stake in Indamer Technics Private Limited, a leading private-sector MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul) provider located in the MIHAN Special Economic Zone, Nagpur.
Horizon Aero Solutions is a joint venture—split evenly between Adani Defence and Aerospace and Prime Aero, the latter helmed by Prajay Patel, who also directs Indamer Technics.
Spread across 30 acres, the facility at MIHAN SEZ is primed to accommodate up to 15 aircraft in 10 hangars. Notably, Indamer Technics holds approvals from DGCA (India) and the FAA (USA), among other global aviation regulators.
Jeet Adani, Director of Adani Airports, emphasized how rapidly India’s aviation sector is evolving. With the industry poised to receive over 1,500 aircraft in the years ahead, this acquisition marks a pivotal step toward making India a premier global MRO destination.
Ashish Rajvanshi, CEO of Adani Defence & Aerospace, said the deal advances the company’s vision of offering full-spectrum MRO services across commercial and defence aviation. Combined with Air Works, another asset in their portfolio, the acquisition enhances Adani’s reach and capacity in maintenance services.
Prajay Patel added that this collaboration aligns technical strength with infrastructure investment, giving Indamer Technics a launchpad for growth with strong backing.
