A leading hand soldering provider celebrates 80 years of innovation led by German engineering based near Stuttgart. Weller continues to with excellence in consistently setting industry standards for precision, reliability and performance with their soldering and accompanying fume extraction and accessories ranges.
As part of its celebrations, Weller is introducing a special new black edition of its WE1010 soldering station and the new ZeroSmog Shield fume extraction system in keeping with eight decades of innovation and progress in soldering solutions for both enthusiasts and professionals.
The WE1010 Black Edition has a sleek, commemorative black design with an 80th anniversary logo, while offering the same reliable performance and easy-to-use operation as the original WE1010.
The original Weller devices, which were first constructed of black Bakelite before subsequently converting to ESD-safe plastics, are referenced by the black design.
In addition to an ergonomic handle, toolless hot tip replacement, an ESD safe station, and a heat-resistant silicon cable for safe handling, the WE1010 is a 70W solder iron. The WE1010 employs ET soldering tips and has a password-protected auto reset mode and standby mode to help save energy and safeguard equipment.
The The ZeroSmog Shield, which is intended for sporadic usage in labs, research and development, and educational institutions, is meant to supplement Weller’s soldering stations by offering high-efficiency fume extraction, guaranteeing a cleaner, safer working environment for soldering specialists.
It has an integrated work light to show the best extraction area and an easy-to-change EPA E10 filter. This limited-edition black product highlights Weller’s history of performance, safety, and innovation in safeguarding users’ health when soldering.
