Honeywell Rolls Out 50 Series CCTV Cameras for Indian Market

The 50 Series CCTV cameras, which were developed especially for the Indian market features:

  • Combines strong cybersecurity,
  • Improved imaging performance,
  • Gyro sensor-based image stabilization,
  • Intelligent video analytics for proactive threat detection.
  • Address the changing security needs of critical infrastructure in the government, healthcare, education, transportation, commercial, and real estate sectors.
  • Numerous models with 3MP and 5MP resolutions, in both dome and bullet form factors, are included in the portfolio.

Additionally, the new product expands upon Honeywell’s 2024 acquisition of Carrier’s Global Access Solutions division, which includes LenelS2. This acquisition improved Honeywell’s sophisticated physical security solutions, which included mobile credentialing, video surveillance, and access control.

Conceptualized, designed, and produced in India, the CCTV cameras are in line with the government’s Atmanirbhar Bharat vision. According to the government’s “Make in India” initiative, the cameras have Class 1 certification, the highest category level.

Developed at Honeywell’s Global Development Center

The advanced offering was developed at Honeywell’s global development center in Bengaluru to address the growing regional demand for intelligent, high-quality, and cyber-secure camera systems. It is produced in a strategic partnership with VVDN Technologies, an Indian Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider that also served as the hardware design partner.

Along with other senior leaders from Honeywell, such as Anant Maheshwari, President and CEO, Honeywell Global Regions; Ashish Modi, President, Honeywell in India; and Vivek Bansal, Founder and President, VVDN Technologies, Kapur met with Shri. Ashwini Vaishnaw, Honourable Union Minister for Electronics and IT, Railways, and I&B for the Government of India in New Delhi to commemorate the launch of the series.
