Gideon Ben Zvi will leave his position as CEO of Valens Semiconductor at the end of 2025, the company announced.
The retirement of Mr. Gideon Ben Zvi comes after Valens successfully accomplished a number of significant milestones.
These include securing three design wins for Valens’ MIPI A-PHY-compliant VA7000 chipsets in partnership with major European automakers, launching the company’s next-generation USB 3.0 extension chipset for AV and industrial customers, and forming a strategic partnership with Mobileye to enable advanced driving applications in vehicles beginning in 2026.
Along with the aforementioned, Valens recently announced a cooperation with ESWIN to introduce joint MIPI A-Phy offerings to the Chinese market. Additionally, Valens has created a new Cross Industry Business (CIB) division with the goal of supporting its expansion into new and existing markets.
Until the end of 2025 or until a new CEO is chosen, Gideon will remain in charge of the business. He will remain a board member and continue to support Valens.
