MYIR has released two new Rockchip series System-On-Module (SOM) modules, the MYC-YR3562 and MYC-YR3506. These SOMs, based on Rockchip’s RK3562 and RK3506 processors, provide outstanding performance and versatility for a variety of applications.
MYC-YR3506 Top-view and Bottom-view
The MYC-YR3506 is a low-cost, power-efficient system-on-module (SOM) developed for entry-level multimedia and IoT applications. It uses the RK3506 SoC, which has a triple-core ARM Cortex-A7 CPU that can run at up to 1.5GHz.
It is compatible with a wide range of screens with its 2D graphic engine and support for display interfaces such as RGB and MIPI-DSI. The basic connectivity options include dual 10/100Mbps Ethernet, dual USB 2.0, dual CAN, and six UART ports.
The MYC-YR3506 is a popular choice for low-cost smart displays, IoT devices, and simple multimedia systems since it is energy-efficient and battery-powered.
MYC-YR3562 Top-view and Bottom-view
The MYC-YR3562 is a advanced system-on-module (SOM) built for mid-range applications, providing improved performance and versatility. It includes the RK3562 processor, which has a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU, a 3D GPU, and a dedicated NPU for AI and machine learning workloads with up to 1 TOPS computational capability.
Multiple Connectivity Choices and Display InterfacesÂ
The module has multiple connectivity choices, including Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0, dual CAN, and up to ten UART ports.
It has a variety of display interfaces (RGB, LVDS, MIPI-DSI) and camera inputs (MIPI-CSI), as well as 4K video decoding and 1080p encoding capabilities. This cost-effective solution is perfect for industrial automation, IoT gateways, edge computing, and other technology-driven applications.
