Tata Elxsi has signed a strategic multi-year deal worth €50 million with a significant European automotive OEM. This strategic agreement establishes Tata Elxsi as a significant engineering partner for platform and application development in the SDV, electrification, body, and chassis areas.
As part of this agreement, Tata Elxsi will set up a dedicated Global Engineering Centre to support the customer’s software platform roadmap and brand-aligned software engineering programs. This center will act as a hub for establishing a unified technology stack that includes a proprietary operating system, electronic architecture, and an automotive cloud. Together, these will enable improved in-vehicle features, seamless communication, and software upgrades across brands and product lines.
