The Chennai Trade Centre held the opening of UMAGINE TN 2025, which was co-sponsored by the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI).
With its emphasis on IT and deep technologies, this historic UMAGINE TN 2025 event demonstrated Tamil Nadu’s dedication to promoting innovation, job creation, and a thriving startup ecosystem. M.K. Stalin, the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, the minister of information technology and digital services, Vijayakumar, the CEO of HCL Technologies, and Shri Arvind Kumar, the director general of Software Technology Parks of India, were among those who attended the occasion.
The initiatives and CoEs that STPI has set up around the nation, including in Tamil Nadu, are intended to support the innovation-driven expansion of our startup ecosystem by giving business owners the resources, infrastructure, and guidance they require to turn their concepts into viable solutions.

Some of the well-known startups exhibiting their creative ideas include Ignomagine Pvt Ltd, a STPI-supported company that enthralled audiences with their developments in robotics, automation, and the Internet of Things by introducing automated storage and retrieval systems and autonomous mobility solutions. Benlycos, a participant in the STPI IoT OpenLab initiative, showcased their innovative telecom devices, which are designed to transform communication and networking.
UMAGINE TN 2025 provided a stage for dynamic discussions, knowledge-sharing, and networking among entrepreneurs, investors, and thought leaders. The event reaffirmed Tamil Nadu’s role as a trailblazer in the global tech landscape and STPI’s pivotal contribution to building a strong and innovative startup ecosystem in India.

Shri. Arvind Kumar Director General STPI inaugurated the STPI SAYUJ Community Startup Pavilion, which serves as a platform for 40 cutting-edge SAUJ startups to showcase transformative solutions across sectors such as AI, IoT, automation, and robotics. Speaking at a panel discussion on accelerating Tamil Nadu’s startup ecosystem, Shri. Arvind Kumar emphasized on STPI’s initiatives and CoEs, which are catalysing innovation-led growth across the country.
Further, M/s xAGI, an innovative AIC STPI startup, unveiled their Enterprise AI Agent Platform and Marketplace, offering AI-powered solutions designed to redefine business operations. “We are grateful for the mentorship and support provided STPI in helping us create a platform bridges the gap between enterprises and AI capabilities, enabling organizations to embrace the future with confidence and efficiency,” said Saurav Kumar, Founder and CEO of xAGI.
