With effect from February 3, 2025, GlobalLogic announced that Srinivas Srini Shankar, its Chief Business Officer (CBO) and Head of Global Industries, has been named the company’s new president and CEO. Nitesh Banga, who has chosen to leave Hitachi and GlobalLogic in order to pursue new opportunities, will be replaced by Srini.
June 2018 saw Nitesh join GlobalLogic. Through his leadership and experience, GlobalLogic was able to grow both organically and inorganically, broaden its skills, offers, and reach, and establish itself as a world leader in Design-Led Digital Engineering.
In addition, Nitesh was instrumental in GlobalLogic’s acquisition by Hitachi and has been crucial to the continued success of their synergy, which includes the growth of the company’s operations in Japan.
In addition to his nearly three decades of visionary leadership of transformational development, innovation in technology services, and excellent client satisfaction, Srini will be the new President and CEO.
His leadership style is strategic and results-driven. Since joining GlobalLogic in 2023, Srini Shankar has led the company’s development and execution of its future go-to-market strategy, expanded industry vertical capabilities, and accelerated growth in GlobalLogic’s core industry business units in his roles as Chief Business Officer and Head of Global Industries.
Prior to joining GlobalLogic, Srini occupied important leadership roles at Infosys and Cognizant, where she played a crucial part in establishing a strong market presence and attaining steady development.
