The next generation of 5G Advanced, mission- and business-critical networks, and energy efficiency and sustainability by design were the three primary themes of this year’s conference. The Rohde & Schwarz Mobile Test Summit took place in the company’s Munich headquarters over two days, November 19–20, 2024. Professionals in wireless communications were invited to participate in two days of talks about the most recent advancements in infrastructure and mobile device testing.
The Rohde & Schwarz Mobile Test Summit this year addressed the next phase of 5G, including RedCap, non-terrestrial networks (NTN), 5G Advanced, mission- and business-critical services, and AI/ML adaption. Energy efficiency for networks and mobile devices was another important topic of debate.
Key industry participants from the European Space Agency (ESA), Fraunhofer IIS, Frequentis, Nokia Bell Labs, OQ Technology Sarl, Murata Electronics, Panasonic Connect Europe, Siemens, Sony Semiconductors, A1 Croatia, O2 Telefonica, and Telekom were among the international speakers on the schedule.
