Tech Mahindra, USI to Promote Engineering Innovation, Develops ODC in India

In order to create Universal Scientific Industrial (Shanghai)’s first Engineering Offshore Development Center (ODC) in India, Tech Mahindra announced a partnership with USI. The objectives of this partnership are to deliver new breakthroughs, expedite time-to-market, and offer scalable solutions.

With an emphasis on technologies anticipated to propel the future of connected devices, additive manufacturing, linked vehicles, and augmented and virtual reality, it will make use of Tech Mahindra’s specialized talent pool and cutting-edge labs.

As it extends its technical capabilities to India, the center represents a major turning point for USI and offers a solid basis for improving device software development, hardware design, and testing. With regard to the requirement for scalability and flexibility, quicker product launches, and access to specialized facilities and capabilities, USI hopes to capitalize on Tech Mahindra’s experience.

The center will also offer a wide range of services, such as advanced hardware and printed circuit board (PCB) design, middleware, board support package (BSP), device driver engineering, Android telephony, modem software development, and more. Tech Mahindra, which is renowned for its proficiency in offering cutting-edge technological solutions, will improve its modem, radio frequency software, and video bar development skills through this partnership.
