The “PanIIT World of Technology Summit,” an international gathering devoted to utilizing innovation for constructive social effect, is proudly presented by Pan IIT Alumni India. The summit is set for January 17–19, 2025, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex.
This year’s subject, “Technology at Work,” will examine how technological breakthroughs are influencing society, industry, governance, and global services, building on the lessons from PIWOT 2021’s focus on technology’s transformative impact and PIWOT 2023’s emphasis on future-driven innovation. To debate the far-reaching impacts of digitalization and technological development, thought leaders and innovators from a variety of industries will come together for the summit.
Keynote speakers at PIWOT 2025 will include prominent figures in industry, policy, and technology, such as Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of Science & Technology; Mr. Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Railways; Mr. Gururaj Desh Deshpande; Dr. R.A. Mashelkar; Mr. Sunil Wadhwani; Mr. Partha Ghosh; and Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Education.
Among the impressive list of international speakers are Mr. Alon Chen, President of the Weizmann Institute of Science, and Prof. Sharon Pickering, Vice-Chancellor and President of Monash University.
