Sondrel declared that, beginning of November 1, 2024, Oliver Jones will take John Chubb’s place as CEO. As Sondrel gets ready to embark on its next stage of expansion and development, this anticipated leadership change is taking place affirmed its official release.

When John Chubb took over as CEO in July 2024, he was tasked with accelerating and finishing a significant, company-wide transformation effort that had been started and announced earlier this year.

Through the creation of a new leadership team, the delistment of the firm from AIM, and the successful renegotiation of significant supplier contracts, John has successfully guided Sondrel through the critical phases of thorough restructuring, setting the company up for future success. 

Oliver Jones brings a wealth of experience in sales, marketing, and commercial operations to Sondrel, having worked with digital startups, private equity-owned companies, and engineering firms listed on the FTSE.

Sondrel’s future vision is ideally aligned with his demonstrated track record of fostering partnerships, improving customer experience, and putting strong commercial management techniques into practice in order to drive growth.

To ensure a seamless transfer and continued stability for the business, John Chubb will keep supporting the executive group. 

In a variety of rapidly expanding end markets, including high-performance computing, automotive, artificial intelligence, VR/AR, video analytics, image processing, mobile networking, and data centers, Sondrel has been one of the few companies able to design and supply the higher-spec chips based on the most cutting-edge semiconductor technologies.
