Viavi Solutions announced that Telefónica Hispanoamérica (HISPAM), a Telefónica Group company with operations in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Mexico, Uruguay, and Venezuela, will receive automated network inventory management capabilities from Viavi NITRO AIOps.
In addition to providing IP Address Management (IPAM), the AIOps Inventory Management system will oversee Telefónica HISPAM’s passive and active network components in all domains, including radio, core, IP, transmission, microwave, and fiber optics. Physical assets, software assets, virtual devices, networks, and the connections between them are all automatically discovered and cataloged by the solution.
NITRO AIOps Inventory Management acts as a bridge between assurance and inventory management, bringing all network parameters together in a single pane of glass and providing true end-to-end visibility of resources and services.
The solution is stated to provide a range of AI/ML-centric capabilities that can manage multi-vendor, multi-technology, multi-domain network data sources, providing an end-to-end view of the entire network.
Users can leverage patented VIAVI topology algorithms to ensure reliable network operation.
With proactive network monitoring and optimization, NITRO AIOps assists in addressing important issues by spotting possible bottlenecks and irregularities and guaranteeing smooth network operations and reliable, superior service delivery.
Real-time anomaly and issue detection that reduces downtime and interruptions, predictive maintenance and quality assurance that improves service quality and lowers operating costs, and capacity planning and resource management are all areas where Telefónica HISPAM will benefit from AI-driven analytics.
