Anritsu Integrates One-Box Testers in its Test System For 5G Equipment Testing

The 5G NR Mobile Device Test Platform ME7834NR Lite Model can be used for protocol conformance testing, while the ME7873NR Lite Model can be used for RF conformance testing when the Radio Communication Test Station MT8000A is set up as a one-box tester.

Testing for protocol conformance and radio frequency compliance previously needed distinct one-box testers with various hardware setups.

These new improvements optimize the capital expenditure needed for the conformance testing of 5G communication equipment by enabling conformance tests to be carried out with the same one-box tester and allowing application switching.

Product Outline

The ME7873NR Lite Model can test 5G communication equipment for RF conformance with just one MT8000A in its setup. The 5G FR1 TRx test and certain Perf and RRM tests with a restricted number of test items are now supported by the ME7873NR Lite Model thanks to this improvement.
