ZOOZ POWER Rapidly Expanding in Germany, To Rollout Fifth Site

Due to the success of its ZOOZTER-100 at four sites—a fifth is expected to open soon—ZOOZ POWER is rapidly expanding in Germany. With a ZOOZTER-100, two CPO Mer managed EV charging stations at Herrenberg have been running well for more than a year. Additionally, installations run by CPO Parkstrom went online this week in Reiskirchen and Weiterstadt. Soon, ZOOZ’s fifth ZOOZTER-100 will go operational, increasing the company’s presence in the German market even further, reveals ZOOZ POWER‘s official release.

The ZOOZTER-100 at the Reiskirchen installation in Germany has doubled the sites available power to 200 kW

Without the need for costly grid modifications, ultra-fast electric vehicle (EV) charging is made possible with the ZOOZTER-100 kinetic power booster system. During periods of inactivity, it saves electricity, transforms it into kinetic energy, and then flashes that energy back into the grid. This avoids the requirement for quick grid improvements and makes ultra-fast charging possible when needed.

The newly inaugurated locations in Reiskirchen and Weiterstadt are ideally situated close to Frankfurt on the A5 Autobahn. Every location has two 150-kW ultra-fast chargers that are complemented by one ZOOZTER-100 unit for electricity.

With the ZOOZTER-100, the Reiskirchen installation—which is close to a major highway intersection—has quadrupled its available power to 200 kW. The ZOOZTER-100 technology has enabled Weiterstadt, a busy industrial district south of Frankfurt Airport, to improve its power capacity by 50%.

Four locations in Germany have gone live with ZOOZ Power’s ground-breaking flywheel-based kinetic booster power management system, which allows for extremely quick multi-port EV charging. A fifth location will open soon.

Avi Cohen, Executive Chairman of ZOOZ Power said:

“The growing adoption of our ZOOZTER-100 power boosters across Germany is a testament to its effectiveness and the increasing demand for innovative flywheel-based EV charging solutions. With four operational sites and a fifth on the way, we’re witnessing substantial momentum in Europe’s largest EV market. Our solution is not only enhancing the charging experience for drivers but also creating new opportunities for Charge Point Operators to expand their networks cost-effectively.”

In addition to improving EV drivers’ charging experiences, ZOOZ Power is expanding its presence in Germany and opening up lucrative options for CPOs. The creation of a strong charging infrastructure and the broad use of electric cars are made possible by ZOOZ Power, as seen by this growth trend, concludes its official release.
