An agreement has been reached by Rishihood University and OMI Foundation to create a Center of Excellence on the university’s Sonipat campus to drive sustainable mobility solutions.
Its main goal will be to hasten India’s and other countries’ adoption of sustainable mobility solutions. This center will act as a focal point for mobility-related research, invention, and information sharing.
Along with promoting the adoption of clean energy sources, improving accessibility in transportation, investigating the future of work in the platform economy, and developing comprehensive urban and rural planning strategies, the partnership will also enable collaborative research initiatives towards sustainable mobility solutions.
Additionally, students at Rishihood University will be able to take part in dissertations, capstone projects, and live projects with research OMI Foundation programs. Through practical experience, students will be able to make a meaningful contribution to the actual world and develop insightful knowledge.
The two organizations will share resources, cooperate together on collaborative research projects, and work together on capacity-building activities including public lectures, workshops, and seminars.
The cooperation will include cooperative resources and seminars aimed at pointing students in the direction of professions in sustainability and policy for Rishihood University’s eighth edition of the Policy BootCamp.

The MoU signifies a shared dedication to catalysing positive change and addressing pressing societal challenges through collaborative research, education, and community engagement.
