Power Integrations Taps Micron Veteran Jacobs for SVP Strategy Role

Chris Jacobs has been appointed senior vice president for marketing and product strategy at Power Integrations. With a stellar track record of product execution, customer acquisition, and development of strategies across a variety of end industries, Mr. Jacobs offers a plethora of knowledge in the industry of semiconductors.

Mr. Chris Jacobs joins Power Integrations from Micron Technology, where he most recently held the positions of general manager and vice president for the automotive, consumer, and industrial/multi-market segments of the company’s multibillion-dollar automotive & embedded business unit.

Prior to this, Mr. Jacobs worked for Analog Devices for more than 25 years in a variety of leadership positions, including vice president and general manager of the autonomous transportation & automotive safety business unit and vice president for marketing and business development in the company’s power IC and module business.

Mr. Jacobs holds an MBA from Boston College, an MS in electrical engineering from Northeastern University and a BS in computer engineering from Clarkson University. He has also completed executive leadership programs at Stanford University and MIT.
