The Automotive Skill Development Council (ASDC) participates in India Skills 2024, a prestigious national competition that highlights and develops vocational potential.
Hosted at Yashobhoomi, India Skills 2024 brings together a broad group of industry professionals, jury members, and ASDC officials with the common goal of assisting and assessing applicants in the automotive industry.
There was a strong attendance on Day 1, with 92 contestants taking part in the event. The most exciting part of the day was the familiarisation session, during which panel members and industry professionals briefed candidates on the nuances of the competition.
Participants were able to interact with industry professionals during this session, which gave them crucial insights into the competition structure and useful advice for the days ahead.
Participants will showcase their skills in Additive Manufacturing, Auto Body Repair, Automobile Technology, Car Painting, Industrial Control, Industry 4.0, Manufacturing Team Challenge, Robot System Integration, and Welding in the automotive skills category. These exercises are intended to assess the applicants’ originality, accuracy, and pressure-tolerant performance in addition to their technical abilities.
A vital stage is provided by India Skills 2024 for emerging talent to demonstrate their abilities and win recognition across the country. The fact that ASDC is participating in the event demonstrates its dedication to empowering the next generation of workers in the automotive sector. The goal of the council is to provide members with the abilities and information needed to succeed in their line of work.
