AMD has introduced a new bug bounty program in partnership with Intigriti, a crowdsourced security service provider. The product category and the seriousness of the issue determine AMD’s awards.
In addition, AMD stated that it is collaborating with Intigriti to introduce a new public Bug Bounty Program, which will allow researchers from all around the ecosystem to submit vulnerabilities in order to further secure AMD’s products for users and the IT ecosystem at large. This announcement was made in conjunction with the company’s private Bug Bounty initiative.

AMD will provide financial incentives in support of the initiative, contingent on the seriousness and significance of the reported problems. Finding bugs may earn a successful bug bounty hunter more than $90,000 year.
AMD in its official release said, “Product security is of critical importance to AMD and this collaboration with academics, security researchers and ethical hackers, alongside the promotion of security research, is an important step in continuing to improve the security of AMD products. Additionally, AMD encourages security researchers to work with the team to help mitigate and coordinate the disclosure of potential security vulnerabilities.”
