What Makes Flowmeters An Essential Industrial Instrument

Flowmeters are a vital piece of equipment used in industry. They are capable of measuring not only the temperature and density of liquids, gases, and steam, but also the flow rates of certain goods. Depending on the kind and state of the fluid or gas, the measuring circumstances, and the goal of the measurement, a variety of measurement methods are available.

The demand for flowmeters is only expected to increase due to the swift growth of India’s industrial sector under the government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative, which encourages both domestic and foreign companies to manufacture their products in India. The initiative aims to turn India into a global manufacturing hub.

Adopting agile manufacturing techniques, which improve the responsiveness and effectiveness of production processes across a range of sectors, is another factor driving this expansion.

Going ahead, Yokogawa plans to improve Adept’s certified flow calibration facilities and manufacturing capabilities in Pune to facilitate local manufacture of its magnetic flowmeters portfolio, which complies with its worldwide quality standards. Additionally, Yokogawa will keep offering Adept’s selection of flowmeters via the sales networks of both businesses.

Sajiv Nath- Vice President, Yokogawa Electric-Japan, Regional Chief Executive, South Asia, Managing Director-Yokogawa India Limited, shares, “We are committed to the Indian market as we firmly believe in ‘Make in India’.
